Sylk Health does not offer its service to people located in mainland China; these pages are for patients elsewhere considering treatment in China. A short guide to what a listed price means, how a consultation request works, and what to think about before you decide.
What a price means
Every listed price is a USD range posted by the provider, who keeps it current and states what it includes and excludes. Where a United States figure is shown it is Sylk Health's own estimate from Medicare rates and published cash prices, not a provider price or a quote.
What is listed
Chinese tertiary hospitals holding the National Health Commission 3A grade, or another accreditation named in the Provider Listing Agreement, may list on Sylk Health. Each provider warrants its own accreditation against the bodies listed in the Provider Listing Agreement. Sylk Health checks public registers before listing and does not assess clinical quality. Naming an accrediting body implies no endorsement by it.
How a request works
Sylk Health operates a marketplace platform only. It is not a healthcare provider, clinical intermediary, broker, referral service or travel service. It does not select, match, steer or recommend providers, does not rank providers by clinical quality, and does not arrange travel, accommodation, interpretation or visas.
You submit a consultation request from a provider's listing. The request goes directly to that provider, who responds to you.
Practical points
Visa requirements are set by the Chinese authorities and depend on your nationality. Sylk Health does not arrange travel, accommodation, interpretation or visas.
Before you decide
Discuss your options with your own doctor first. Ask the provider what the price range includes and excludes. Ask about follow-up care after you return home.
