Comparing procedure prices
A short explanation of what a listed price range covers, what the United States figure is, and where to compare prices across providers.
What a listed range covers
Every listed price is a USD range posted by the provider, who keeps it current and states what it includes and excludes. As a general standard, a listed range is expected to cover:
- Anaesthesia, theatre and facility charges
- Room and board for the expected stay
- Practitioner fees
- Standard implants and consumables
- Routine pre-operative tests and post-operative medication
- Complications the provider resolves before discharge
What the United States figure is
Where a United States figure is shown it is Sylk Health's own estimate from Medicare rates and published cash prices, not a provider price or a quote.
